Share Trash Free Texas with Volunteers and Stakeholders in Your Community

Trash Free Texas partners create an online community where we can educate volunteers and the public to encourage positive environmental change. Our partners are encouraged to follow and interact with our social media pages on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Sharing these posts gets the word out about our efforts and motivates others to get involved!

Not a Trash Free Texas partner? No problem! Becoming a Trash Free Texas Partner is easy and costs you nothing. Click on the Partner Up button below to fill out our Partner Form. You are encouraged to upload your organization’s logo to the form so we can showcase your organization on this Partner page.

Partners help to strengthen Trash Free Texas by providing feedback, updates, and helping to spread the word through their networks and community. Partners also receive access to promotional materials and resources for clean-up events.

Coordinators submit sites to the Adopt-A-Spot Map and agree to be the contact person for volunteers who want to help keep Texas trash-free! Submitting sites allows potential volunteers to see the needs in their area so they can participate in clean-up events in their community.

TEXAS LITTER DATABASE

The Trash Litter Database (www.txlitter.org) was created by Keep Texas Beautiful, the Houston Advanced Research Center, and Black Cat GIS, and funded by the Garver Black Hilyard Famiy Foundation. It organizes and stores trash and marine debris data collected in Texas in a central location and can be accessed through any smart device or computer. Most importantly, the database can be used by everyone: litter cleanup volunteers, cleanup site coordinators, researchers, or any other user, to either input trash collection data or view and download trash collection data. All litter cleanup volunteers and cleanup organizers in Texas are encouraged to enter their data in the database. The Texas Litter Database can also be accessed from the Trash Free Texas Adopt-A-Spot Map through a link in the bottom right-hand corner.
